Installing BB Form Builder

This guide will walk you through the process of installing the BB Form Builder plugin for your Botble CMS website.

Requirements

Before installing BB Form Builder, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

• Botble CMS version 7.5.0 or higher (or any script based on Botble CMS from our CodeCanyon portfolio)
• PHP version 8.2 or higher
• MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+
• Sufficient disk space for plugin files and uploaded form attachments

Installation Steps

1. Download the plugin from CodeCanyon downloads page
2. Extract the downloaded zip file
3. Upload the extracted folder to platform/plugins/bb-form-builder directory
4. Go to Admin > Plugins and activate the BB Form Builder plugin
5. Refresh your website

Post-Installation Setup

After installing and activating the BB Form Builder plugin:

1. Activate Your License

• Navigate to BB Form Builder > License Activation
• Enter your purchase code from CodeCanyon
• Accept the license terms
• Click "Activate license"

2. Access Admin Interface

• The BB Form Builder menu item will appear in your admin panel's main navigation
• Click on BB Form Builder to access the form management system

3. Configure Basic Settings

• Navigate to Settings > BB Form Builder
• Set up allowed file types for uploads
• Configure maximum file size
• Customize appearance settings (colors, border radius, etc.)
• Set up integration API keys (Mailchimp, GetResponse)

4. Create Your First Form

• Go to BB Form Builder > Forms
• Click Create to create a new form
• Use the drag-and-drop builder to add fields
• Configure form actions (email notifications, database storage)
• Save and publish your form

Verifying Installation

To verify that the BB Form Builder plugin has been installed correctly:

1. Log in to your admin panel
2. Verify the BB Form Builder menu item appears in the main navigation
3. Click on BB Form Builder to access the management interface
4. Check that all sub-menus are accessible (Forms, Submissions, Reports, License Activation)
5. Go to Settings > BB Form Builder and verify settings are accessible
