Paying with Your Wallet at Checkout

This guide shows you how to use your wallet balance to pay for orders.

Before You Start

To pay with your wallet, you need:

  1. An account - You must be logged in
  2. Wallet balance - You need enough money in your wallet
  3. Items in cart - Something to buy!

How to Pay with Wallet

Step 1: Add Items to Cart

Shop as usual and add items to your cart.

Step 2: Go to Checkout

Click Checkout when you're ready to pay.

Step 3: Choose Wallet Payment

On the payment method section, you'll see:

  • Your available wallet balance
  • Option to pay with Wallet or E-Wallet

Click to select wallet as your payment method.

Step 4: Review Your Order

Check:

  • Items in your order
  • Total amount
  • Your wallet balance will cover it

Step 5: Confirm Payment

Click Place Order or Confirm

What happens:

  • Money is deducted from your wallet instantly
  • Your order is confirmed
  • You see the success page

Step 6: Done!

Your order is complete! You'll receive:

  • Order confirmation
  • Updated wallet balance
  • Transaction in your wallet history

What You'll See at Checkout

When wallet payment is available, you'll see:

Payment Method:
○ Credit Card
○ PayPal
● Wallet (Balance: $150.00)

Your wallet balance is shown so you know how much you have.

When You DON'T Have Enough Balance

If your order costs more than your wallet balance:

What you'll see:

  • Wallet option may be grayed out
  • Message: "Insufficient balance"
  • Your current balance vs order total

What to do:

  1. Add money first - Go to your wallet and top-up
  2. Use another method - Pay with credit card or PayPal instead

TIP

You cannot split payment between wallet and another method. The wallet must cover the full amount.

After Your Purchase

Your Wallet Shows

  • Transaction type: Payment
  • Amount: The order total (negative, since money left)
  • Balance after: Your new balance

Your Order Shows

  • Payment method: Wallet
  • Payment status: Paid

Getting Refunds

If you return an item or cancel an order:

  1. Refund goes directly to your wallet
  2. You'll see a "Refund" transaction
  3. Money is available immediately
  4. Use it for future purchases or withdraw

Refunds Are Automatic

When the store processes your refund, it goes to your wallet automatically. You don't need to do anything!

Check Your Balance First

Before checkout, make sure you have enough in your wallet. You can:

  • View balance on your wallet page
  • The balance also shows at checkout

Save Time with Wallet

Using wallet means:

  • No entering card numbers
  • No 3D Secure verification
  • Instant payment confirmation

Keep Some Balance

Consider keeping a balance in your wallet if you shop frequently. This makes checkout faster every time!

Common Questions

Why can't I see the wallet option?

Possible reasons:

  • You're not logged in (wallet requires login)
  • Wallet feature is currently disabled
  • Your balance is $0

Why can't I select wallet?

Possible reasons:

  • Your balance is lower than the order total
  • Wallet payment might be temporarily unavailable

What if payment fails?

Wallet payments rarely fail since it's just moving your stored balance. If it does:

  • Your wallet balance is NOT deducted
  • You can try again
  • Contact support if it keeps happening

Can I pay part with wallet and part with card?

Currently, no. You must pay the full amount with one method. Either:

  • Use 100% wallet, OR
  • Use 100% another payment method

Is wallet payment refundable?

Yes! If you cancel or return your order, the refund goes back to your wallet automatically.
